Seats, credit and your data
Is the first month free?
Yes. Add a card when you start and nothing is taken for 30 days. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. The free month is once per company.
Can I use a discount code?
Yes. Type it on the Stripe page when you add your card, or add it later from Settings, Billing.
Who counts as a seat?
Everyone who can sign in to your workspace, including people you have invited who have not joined yet. Add or remove people any time and the bill follows.
Why is AI credit in dollars?
The AI providers charge us in dollars. Keeping your credit in dollars means we can pass on exactly what each step cost, with no exchange rate or markup in between.
What happens when credit runs out?
Work that uses AI or enrichment, like research, drafting and company lookups, waits until you top up or your included usage resets. Everything else keeps working: your customers, deals, proposals and tasks are all still there.
Can I set a limit on automatic top-ups?
Yes. Choose the low point, the amount to add and a most it may add in a month. If a card payment fails, automatic top-ups pause until you fix it.
Do I get invoices?
Yes. Your monthly seat bill and every top-up, including automatic ones, come with a Stripe invoice. Find them under Manage billing in Settings, Billing, where you can also change your card and add your VAT number.
Where is my data stored?
Your workspace's records are kept in a database in London, and the app runs there too. Uploaded files, such as logos, photos and exports, are stored in the United States. Each workspace is kept apart from every other one, down to the database.
